It was December 16th, 2017 in the remote Australian Outback town of Larrimah when Paddy Moriarty and his dog Kellie left the local pub and vanished, never to be seen again. As the investigation unfolds, a portrait is painted of this curious town and its 11 eccentric residents, but what ultimately matters is everything that happened before that fateful day. Told in five chapters, this documentary hones in on the most prominent aspects of Larrimah's history and how the town’s once hopeful residents brought about their own demise.
The Austin Chronicle called it: "a rapscallion of a movie, a screwball, heartfelt portrait of the vast, threatening Australian outback and the tiny town Larrimah... It’s an expertly revealed murder mystery with a heart of gold, and a fascinating study of what could have been a forgotten community." MAshable called it: "a complex and captivating portrait of a small town... in turns joyful, devastating, and profound."
and raved, "An incredible tension is created... as it balances a macabre sense of entertainment with a poignant sting of loss." The Film has a 100% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
